I Was Serious, I Was Eating Apples, is a collaboration between artist David Horvitz , musician Jamie Stewart of the band Xiu Xiu, and STUDIO LHOOQ. The studio conceptualized the overarching framework in which the design was produced, typesetting and printing each of Stewart's poems to be photographed by Horvitz while on tour.
