New visual identity and interstitial website design and development for The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art in Houston, Texas
The Orange Show preserves, promotes, and documents visionary art environments, provides opportunities for the expression of personal artistic vision, and creates a community where that expression is valued. The new identity and interstitial website coincides with a major expansion plan that will focus on bringing the visionary art community together to make, teach, and view performing and visual arts across a 5.7-acre campus. The interstitial serves as a reintroduction of the Orange Show to current and new audiences as it gears up to open it's new campus in 2026, which will be accompanied with a new (full) website redesign.
Visit orangeshow.orgRogers Partners’ master plan will restore and preserve the existing Orange Show Monument, while improving accessibility and integrating it into the neighboring shipping facility. This site is home to a 25,000-sq-ft concrete warehouse structure that will be cleaned up, but left raw, and enclosed by garage doors that will allow it to be either closed and air-conditioned or open. The goal is for it to be a world-class, flexible performance and exhibition space that will offer extensive possibilities for exhibitions, programs, and offices as well as a comprehensive visionary art library and archive, and spaces for education and events.
The expansion will transform the campus into an arena of individual creation and community collaboration, featuring year-round interdisciplinary programs and exhibitions of leading self-taught and outsider art.
