General Public Library
General Public Library (GPL) was conceived, designed, organized, and installed by STUDIO LHOOQ at Art in General in New York. GPL was a community sourced library, open to the general public. Each contribution was captured and catalogued onto the GPL website, allowing for those unable to be physically present, to browse the library. The goal was to gift Art in General with a reference library that they can build upon. The installation moved from the ground floor storefront to the upstairs galleries and is now on permanent display.
